2. Visiting this website
Technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, date and time, requested URL, data volume, browser information, referring page and HTTP status. This supports secure operation, troubleshooting and prevention of misuse. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operation, analysis and security.
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, no audience analytics and no externally loaded fonts. Email links open the email application configured on your device.
3. Data in the app
Seller, customer, item and invoice master data are generally stored locally on the mobile device. A random installation identifier is used for trial and subscription status. The operator processes platform, app version, language, first and last use, trial or subscription status and counts of invoices created and sent. The operator statistics do not include customer, seller, item or invoice contents.
When you expressly request e-invoice creation or sending, the necessary seller, customer and invoice data is transferred in encrypted form to our document service. It creates PDF/A-3 and Factur-X XML or sends the email. For security and delivery evidence, only a non-reversible invoice reference, recipient domain, delivery status and timestamps are stored, not the invoice contents.
4. Public e-invoice checker
If you voluntarily select an XML or Factur-X PDF for checking, it is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, processed only in memory or a short-lived working directory and deleted immediately after checking. The file and its contents are not stored permanently. To limit use to five checks per day, the IP address is combined with a server-side secret and date to form a non-reversible daily hash; only that hash, the date and a counter are stored.
5. Contact and support
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and request to respond. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary confidential information.
6. App stores and subscriptions
Installation, purchases, renewals and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. We receive status and transaction information needed to enable and manage a subscription, but no store passwords or full payment details.
7. Retention
Data is deleted or anonymised once its purpose has ended and no legal retention, evidentiary or security interest remains. Local app data may also be removed in the app or by uninstalling it, provided no exports or backups remain.
8. Your rights and changes
Subject to applicable legal requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may complain to a competent data protection authority. This notice is updated when features, service providers or legal requirements change.
